Swadley's Bar-B-Q

Excellent BBQ. Sides are outstanding. The cobbler and free ice cream is marvelous. Great people doing good business. Karissa is a spectacular waitress. All the staff are very attentive and polite. I plan trips around stops at Swadleys. Ask for the lean burnt ends. If heaven has burnt ends the are contracted from Swadleys. The prayer book and open bible say a lot about the Swadley name and business.

We stopped here after visiting Lake Murray. The food was incredible (brisket, chicken, polish sausage, smokehouse club, salad bar). I was personally thrilled with the haystack onion strings. The only thing better than the food was the service. Bryce was incredible! Bonus points for free ice cream on the way out!

I love Swadleys but the service at this one wasn't at all what im use to. Our server never came by to see if we needed anymore to drink or bbq sauce. I did however see several of them gather at the soda machine and talk, yes our server was o e of them. The food was delicious as always. Bathroom is much larger then the other Swadleys. Plenty of parking for handicap and others. I think from now on I will be saving my bbq rib eating for okc location its the best!

We are from Wisconsin and have never eaten here before. I really enjoyed my catfish, coleslaw, and elotes. The hush puppies and sweet tea were also very good. My husband enjoyed his chicken, but the potatoes and fried onions weren’t very warm. I had a bite of his sweet bun, which was fresh from the oven, and it reminded me of the rolls my grandmother made when I was a child. We would definitely eat here again if we are ever in the area. The service was very good. The only thing I might change is ordering at the table instead of the counter.

DELIGHTED by the customer service, other customers & by SWEET ICED TEA As a life long living Nebraska native, I don’t think I can ever go back to unsweetened iced tea, again! Big shout-out to Swadley’s Bar-B-Q in Ardmore for that life changing discovery of mine! My little family definitely recommends The Sampler for y’all try! Swadley’s IMMEDIATELY became an Ardmore visit MUST stop Oh! & our son loved seeing all the bright lights

We had an overall positive experience here. I had the burnt ends plate and my wife had the Oklahoma sampler. I think we both like the burnt end the best. The sauce is sweet and r Rich and just a little bit spicy. The ocher was pretty good and we had the sweet beans as well which are really just baked beans. Service was good. They kept our drinks full and got her food out there in a reasonable amount of time. I felt like the small side salad was a little overpriced.

Good southern bbq place! Not too crowded. Fast service and friendly people. Worth a visit ! The OK sampler is $20.99 plate. There’s free ice cream while you wait.
